With summer winding down and the campaign heating up, we have two great events over the next couple weeks:

• Wednesday, August 26th, 6:00-8:00pm at The Havana Room, 306 East 76th Street, between 1st & 2nd Avenues in Manhattan
• Monday, August 31st, 6:00-8:00pm at Donovan's Pub (voted Best Burger in NYC!), 57-24 Roosevelt Avenue in Queens

All of Eric's events are pay whatever you can, even $10, and every contribution makes a big difference. The city matches contributions up to $175 with a 6-to-1 bonus, so a $50 contribution turns into $350, and $175 nets the campaign $1,225!

We're now less than four weeks away until Election Day, and Eric's campaign for Public Advocate is gaining momentum and peaking at the right time:

The New York Times covered Eric's proposal to make college more affordable by creating a textbook rental program. Eric released his plan to improve city schools and enable every child in the city to reach their potential. The campaign picked up another huge endorsement from the FDNY Fire Officers
