Vice President Biden to Travel to Chicago, Illinois

Washington, D.C. - On Thursday, August 20, Vice President Biden will travel to Chicago, IL, where he will lead a roundtable discussion with health care professionals on health insurance reform.

In Chicago, Vice President Biden will be joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Dr. David Blumenthal, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at Health and Human Services, to discuss our nation's health care system with doctors, nurses, and hospital administrators at Mt. Sinai Hospital. The Vice President will emphasize the importance of health insurance reform, including health information technology infrastructure and preventative care.
