Here's an e-mail we received from the Yassky campaign:
Lucas --
Hi, my name is Corinne Roller, and I recently began working as volunteer coordinator here at Yassky for Comptroller. I've worked on Democratic campaigns throughout the country -- on governor's races, U.S. Senate races, and even a presidential campaign -- but I chose to work for David Yassky because he is a progressive voice who will bring innovation to our city, move our economy into the future, and hold government accountable to the people it serves.
I'm excited to work with all of you over the coming months to help elect David. But I'm not the only new person on the team. I'm proud to share some very important endorsements by influential New Yorkers who are joining our campaign.
First, Reverend A.R. Bernard, Pastor of Central Brooklyn's Christian Cultural Center, has endorsed David. And last week, David gained the support of Assembly Member Jonathan Bing and Council Member Dan Garodnick, who were joined by many district and state committee leaders from Manhattan's East Side in supporting David.

David's proud to have the support of some of the city's most dynamic and progressive leaders, and these endorsements represent the huge success we've all made in David's home borough of Brooklyn, and in taking our message across the Brooklyn Bridge and throughout the city. In endorsing David, folks are backing the candidate with the most relevant experience and proven track record in the race.
David's background working for Chuck Schumer, at the city's Office of Management and Budget, as an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, and as Chair of the City Council's Small Business Committee has prepared him to help create a New York City that is economically strong, diverse and sustainable for working families.
Will you join us as a volunteer for David's campaign?

Thanks for everything you're doing to make a difference.
Sincerely,
Corinne Roller
Volunteer Coordinator
