1st ANNUAL

Mark your calenders for the first annual Walk 4 Paws ! The Walk will be an exciting event for both people and canines. We will be walking through beautiful Forest Park (the actual walk is less than 1 mile). At the end of the walk we will have goodie bags, microchipping, live entertainment, contests and prizes and much more! Prizes are also awarded to the top individual fundraisers and the top fundraising Pack. Prizes include gift cards from Steve Madden and Dr Foster and Smith plus much more=)

You can walk as an individual or as a pack (two or more people). We hope that you will take advantage of our Firstgiving website and create a fundraising page to help raise money for all of our four legged friends at the shelter.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE WALK

Go the Walk 4 Paws website and click the "Get Started" button at the top of this page

Select the "Walk 4 Paws" event
Follow the prompts to register.
Personalize the text and the photo on your Online Fundraising Page to express your passions and your purpose.
Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.

WALK INFO

Check in starts at 9am

The walk starts at 10am

We will be starting in the bandshell parking lot (ample parking available) and walking the Blue trail of Forest Park

We will be walking in a circle so we will end up where we started =)

After the walk, there will be raffles, live music, face painting, contests and a chance to meet the adoptable dogs of Bobbi and the Strays

We ask that all dogs be kept on a 6ft of shorter leash. Please no retractable leashes

Why Your Help Is Needed!

Bobbi and the Strays is a 501(c)3 non-profit that rescues over 500 animals per year. Located in New York City's largest borough, it serves as a safe haven for animals found in the streets, given up by their owners or animals pulled off death row from our city shelters. We take in sick or injured animals that need specialty surgeries or extensive vet care, abused animals that need training and rehabilitation, all without discrimination to age or breed and abide by a 100% no-kill policy. Without Bobbi and the Strays , thousands of animals would not have had a well deserved second chance at life.

Bobbi and the Strays needs your help to continue our work! We are in danger of losing our shelter next year and without the funds to secure a new space, these homeless animals will have no where to go.
