The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 has just endorsed Eric Gioia for Public Advocate, citing his "political and social activism, as well as his commitment to working families and a strong labor background" in their unanimous decision!

Local 3 is the fifth largest union local in the City, representing over 30,000 workers, and they join a broad coalition of labor support for Gioia, including the food and commercial workers, the retail workers, the stagehands, and several law enforcement locals.

As the campaign picks up steam, we're less than two weeks away from Eric's big birthday party on Wednesday, May 6th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Union Square Ballroom with special guest, former Vice Presidential nominee Geraldine Ferraro.
