City Council Member John Liu is having a celebration this evening at The Flushing Last Call Center.

Many people did not think they would live to see the day. Well, the day has come with the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States. The nation embarks in a new direction, full of unbridled hope and with untold barriers shattered at last. Our future is here.
Special thank-you to the hundreds of volunteers who came to the Flushing Last Call Center, which we set up just this past Saturday, to turn out the vote by phoning tens of thousands of voters all across America.
So come celebrate this epic victory with us!
