Alfonso Quiroz, a candidate for City Council in the 25th District (Queens), has a knack for coming up with unusual fundraisers.
Just a few weeks ago, he used a " Sex and the City " theme -- timed with the release of the movie. On June 19, 2008, he's taking people to Siberia ... Siberia Bar. But, not really. (Apparently, his hosts will be screening a clip from an upcoming documentary on the joint.)
