For those who find Christmas eve downright depressing, fear not. We may just have an event for you.
On Wednesday evening, December 24, 2008, you'll find Matzo Balls being thrown in some 21 different cities.
Matzo Ball Party is a project of the Society of Young Jewish Professionals.
Here's the event's background information:
Now in its 21st year, the Society of Young Jewish Professionals, commonly known as SYJP, Inc., is the nation's largest and most successful membership organization for Jewish professionals, ages 21-49. SYJP,Inc. offers men and women the opportunity to meet in an environment conducive to developing networking opportunities, long lasting friendships and romantic relationships. We have sparked over 1,000 marriages and thousands of friendships thus far.
SYJP, Inc. founded in 1987, is the brainchild of one man's longing to bring the Jewish people together, and find a nice Jewish girl along the way! Throughout the years, SYJP, Inc. has opened a whole new dimension in meeting singles, and uniting the Jewish community. Originating from one holiday party, the MatzoBall, SYJP, Inc. has since grown into a national membership organization that hosts monthly events for Jewish professionals.
