Artfully Unforgotten will be hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at 7 PM, at Best Buy 's Soho Loft (394 Broadway, 6th Floor).
The evening will feature "art, friends, music, tasty treats and superior refreshment."
Ticket prices are a modest $15 (students), $20 (others, in advance), $25 (at door).

Artfully Unforgotten's mission is to raise awareness of and advocate for the needs of vulnerable communities throughout the world through the presentation of artistic exhibits and productions.
We achieve our mission by visiting vulnerable communities in both the States and abroad who are in need of advocacy and resources. By spending time within the community we get to personally know its members while also learning about its history and its present conditions. Most importantly, our time working with them will help us identify a need which Artfully Unforgotten can help them attain. Bringing this experience back to our local community is the second part of Artfully Unforgotten's mission. We believe this can successfully be done by sharing the film footage, sound clips, artwork, testimonials and photographs gathered from our time with our host community. These materials will be used to create a presentation in the form of an exhibit or theatrical production that will tell their story in an accurate and respectful way. Our goal is to create environments that are both informative and entertaining and envelop the viewer in image, sound and information.
