In Batts v. Page , Lucille Batts was injured in a car accident at an intersection where Adrienne Page had the right-of-way.
Batts claimed Page was driving at a "horrifically excessive speed," but couldn't support the allegation.
When the Kings County Supreme Court granted Page's request to dismiss the case, Batts appealed to the Appellate Division, Second Department, which affirmed the outcome because Batts' assertions weren't supportable and entirely "speculative."
There's no turning that Page.
