Now in its 17th year, the GASPARILLA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is Tampa Bay’s largest celebration of independent film. In association with The Tampa Fim Institute – a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization – GIFF seeks to inspire, educate, and entertain its attendees by showcasing a wide variety features and shorts, in an array of genres.We're extremely proud to announce that CHILDREN OF THE PINES has been selected to screen at this year’ event.
In this feature-length horror, written and directed by 21-year-old JOSHUA MORGAN, we follow a dysfunctional family desperately searching for a way to correct the “sins” of the past. And amid that quest, they end up joining a “cult” … with not-so-angelic underpinnings.
