DON'T CHOKE SELECTED TO SCREEN ON MARCH 9, 2024

Now in its second year, LIVERPOOL INDIE AWARDS, based out of one of the “most cosmopolitan cities of the world,” seeks “to promote short filmmaking.” Its goal is “to raise awareness and promote the various aspects of international cinema in all its forms,” and they set out “to celebrate filmmakers who challenge the conventional way of filmmaking.”

We’re pleased to announce that DON’T CHOKE — a short written and directed by Sonny Baez has been selected to participate in this year’s festivities.
▫️
This special movie — which will be screening on March 9, 2024, at 17:00, at Southport Bijou Cinema, 8 Post Office Avenue (Southport, UK) — explores “the toxicity, violence and passion surrounding the end of a marriage.” And we watch as a couple’s child-custody battle unfolds … in a unique way.
