JOSHUA MORGAN TAKES HOME COVETED AUDIENCE AWARD!
On Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the conclusion of the 17th annual Gasparilla International Film Festival, CHILDREN OF THE PINES — a feature-length horror, written and directed by 21-year-old JOSHUA MORGAN — took home the coveted Audience Award prize!

In this movie, we follow a dysfunctional family desperately searching for a way to correct the “sins” of the past. And amid that quest, they end up joining a “cult” … with not-so-angelic underpinnings.

While there was certainly some stiff competition, the story clearly resonated with the Tampa Bay area attendees, and we’re humbled by their acceptance and recognition.
