CHILDREN OF THE PINES -- a new feature-length horror film, written and directed by 21-year-old JOSHUA MORGAN (from Tampa, Florida) -- is about a dysfunctional family desperately searching for a way to correct the errors of their past. And in the midst of that quest, they join a “cult,” with not-so-angelic underpinnings.
