VIOLATED A CONSENT AGREEMENT WITH THE EPA
D.O (33), of Cleves, Ohio, pleaded guilty in late November, to “removing emissions control devices required by the Clean Air Act.”
Back in 2020, while he was the co-owner of a diesel shop in North Bend, D.O. entered into a consent decree with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) where he promised that he would stop removing those devices. Yet, via a different company, which was also located in North Bend, he continued the misconduct.
On November 28, 2023, he pleaded guilty “to aiding and abetting the tampering with a monitoring device,” and will be sentenced by a federal judge.
Did that make him tamper resistant?
