WAS ALREADY SERVING TIME FOR “RECEIVING CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIAL”
While JED (35) of Davenport, Iowa, was doing time at a local "halfway house" known as the “Residential Reentry Center in Davenport" -- for a prior conviction associated with receiving and distributing child porn -- his cell phone was found to contain illicit images.
As a result, in mid-December, JED was sentenced to an additional 180 months (15 years) in federal prison for “receiving child pornography” and, upon completion of his term, will be required to undergo ten years of supervised release.
The case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the South District of Iowa, as part of the Department of Justice’s “Project Safe Childhood.”
