The Barcelona-based BCN SPORTS FILM FESTIVAL seeks “to bring the general public into contact with sports-orientated audiovisual content and the values that they represent.”

This year’s 14th edition, scheduled from Feb 19-27, 2024, will offer in-person and online screenings. And among the films selected to compete, you’ll find DON’T CHOKE — a short film written and directed by Sonny Baez.

In this “dramedy,” we witness “the toxicity, violence and passion surrounding the end of a marriage.” And we watch as a couple’s child-custody battle unfolds … in a unique way.

The film will be screening at the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona, February 22, at 17:00.
