MAN FACES UP TO 20 YEARS FOR SUBMITTING FALSE REPORTS TO FEC

In late February, CR (37) of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to filing false documents with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and to credit card fraud.

The man apparently claimed to have created a Super PAC, by the name of “Americans for Progressive Action USA (AFPA),” and is said to have filed falsified quarterly reports with the FEC showing millions in contributions from non-existent individuals. CR is also said to have falsified over $1.5 million in expenditures and to have conducted some 200 unauthorized credit transactions.

Scheduled for sentencing on June 13, the man faces up to 20 years in prison for the “false entry” count, and up to 10 years on the “access device fraud.”

Looks like he got some bad credit for there.
