GOOD GRIEF SCREENS ON OCTOBER 1, 2023
Some 17 years ago, Charlotte Film Festival set out “to give established and emerging filmmakers a weekend festival to showcase their works for industry peers and avid enthusiasts of independent film.” And since 2006, “the festival has grown to include state-of-the-art venues, attracting filmmakers from around the world as well as industry professionals, corporate sponsorships, and a dedicated audience.”

Since its mission is to bring “innovative independent cinema to Charlotte,” we’re honored to announce that GOOD GRIEF, a short written and directed by Rob Sharp, will be screening at this year’s festivities, on October 1, 2023, at 2:30 PM, at The Independent Picture House, 4237 Raleigh Street (Charlotte, North Carolina).

In this story, we follow four women who have undergone a loss of a child. Will they overcome the vast emptiness of their despair, fight to rebuild their lives, or will they come to learn the meaning of grief? (You’ll have to attend the festival to find out.)
