Now in its second year, SUFFOLK SHORTS “aims to introduce independent British and International short films to a new audience, and champions local filmmakers with a dedicated East Anglian award and event.”

The festivities will be held at The Riverside, a historic theatre, in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England, on October 14, 2023. And among the 24 projects selected to screen, you’ll find TWOFOLD — written by Toto Bruin, and directed by Forbes “30 Under 30” honoree, Ella Greenwood.

In this film, as New Year’s Eve festivities are underway above them, our protagonists have a chance encounter. But when they recognize each other from over a decade prior, fireworks ensue — with the project tackling such themes as love, deception, abuse of power, and lack of consent.
