KID GOT 9 MONTHS FOR “FORCIBLE TOUCHING”

ATTEMPTED TO GRAB A WOMAN’S “BUTT”

After he admitted that he had "attempted to grab" a woman’s "butt … without her permission or consent ‘[b]ecause [he] liked her and was attracted to her,’” the Nassau County Family Court found Oscar had committed an act which (if committed by an adult) would have constituted the crime of “attempted forcible touching.”

After he was found to be a “juvenile delinquent,” the New York State Office of Children and Family Services was granted custody so that Oscar could be placed in a “nonsecure facility for a period of nine months.”

On appeal, the Appellate Division, Second Department, thought that the outcome was appropriate given Oscar’s admission that he engaged in such misconduct and that there was a “sufficient factual basis” in the record to support the underlying determination

We ain’t touching that any further ….
