Exciting news! This week, both
The New York Times and the
Daily News joined me and endorsed the candidacy of my friend
Micah Lasher for State Senate in the 31st District. Micah and I both share deep progressive
values and a common belief in the power of government to help people and
I know if he is elected he will be a strong supporter and ally in the
fight for affordable housing, strong public education and ethics reform.
But Micah faces a very competitive race that could result in another win
for the Republican-aligned IDC if he loses. He needs our help in the final
few days before the polls close Tuesday night.
