Donald Trump is a racist conman who got rich by taking advantage of working people. Now he wants to usher that same attitude and approach into the White House to the benefit of his friends in the billionaire class.
We’re not going to let that happen.
There are a million reasons to vote against Donald Trump, but it’s just as true that there are that many and more to make sure you cast your vote for Hillary Clinton. I know Hillary is proud to be the Democratic Party's nominee and to also have earned the support of the Working Families Party. She appears on both the WFP and the Democratic lines, and a vote for her on either will help her make history.
Here’s another good reason: every single vote Hillary Clinton receives in this election is a declaration of support for the most progressive Democratic Party platform in modern American history. And as each of our votes are counted tomorrow night, it’s like tens of millions of hands rising into the air and declaring with one voice that we are willing to take action to create an economy that works for all of us, and not just a bunch of millionaires and billionaires.
But having been through a lot of elections myself, the one thing I know is that you’re much more likely to vote if you have a plan to get it done. So tell me, what’s your plan to vote tomorrow?
Here's my plan: tomorrow morning Chirlane and I will go to Park Slope to cast our votes, and throughout the day we'll be meeting with New Yorkers in all five boroughs to encourage everyone to get out and vote.
