I am disgusted.
The FBI's official recommendation is against prosecuting Hillary Clinton.
Although we've been taught that we live in a just nation where laws apply equally to every citizen – the truth is that we have become a nation with two sets of laws: one set for the Clintons, and one set for everyone else.
Despite the FBI's acknowledgement that Hillary Clinton was "extremely careless" violating procedures for the handling of classified information and that she recklessly endangered national security more than 100 times – she will not face charges or legal consequences of any kind.
This is an outrage!
And it's proof that both she and the Obama administration believe the rule of law does not apply to them.
In the next 48 hours, I'm asking you to take IMMEDIATE action and stand with me in demanding HILLARY BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
Any civil servant or military officer who had been so "careless"
with national security and classified information would face serious consequences
- consequences that Hillary too must be required to face under the laws
of our land.
If we don't
act now, Hillary gets off scot free, because once again, Hillary Clinton is above
the law, accountable to no one.
So I just have to ask you...
How can we trust someone to be Commandeer in Chief who would not even qualify
for a security clearance if her name weren't Clinton?
Allowing Hillary to once again escape legal consequences for her actions
is also a loss for the rule of law, and will further degrade Americans'
faith in the justice system. It's the type of loss that can only be
restored by electing leaders who believe wholly in the rule of law, and
its equal application.
I will continue to fight for transparency and the Constitution, a battle
I have waged since the day I was elected because
I firmly believe NO ONE is above the law.
