
Jerome Park Reservoir Tours November 14 and 15
New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has rescheduled the Jerome Park Reservoir tours for November 14 and 15. Learn about the reservoir that was built in the 1830s and has a capacity of 773 million gallons with a two mile circumference. The one hour tours will be from 10-11am and 11-12pm on both November 14 and 15. Please note that there are a limited amount of tickets remaining, as those who were scheduled to attend the original dates were given the opportunity to reschedule their tickets. Following the tours on each day for two hours (from 12:30pm to 2:30pm) DEP will also be providing the opportunity for people to walk or jog around the reservoir without the requirement of tickets.
As a reminder: Phones, bags and cameras will not be permitted on the tour. We will provide an opportunity to check phones, however please do not bring any bags or cameras. Please ensure you wear closed toe shoes. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver before being admitted.
