I'm excited to announce that our next Off the Sidelines book club pick is Ann, a one-woman play now on Broadway starring Holland Taylor as the larger than life former Governor of Texas, Ann Richards.

I'm thrilled that Holland Taylor, who also wrote the play, will join our online video chat next month to discuss it. Holland is such a talented star on stage and on screen, and she absolutely brings Ann Richards to life in this remarkable play.

Richards was so ahead of her time and perfectly personifies the spirit of Off the Sidelines. In bringing her to life on the page and on the stage, Holland Taylor captures that tenacious spirit that made Ann such a force of nature.
