Went to Salt 7 (in Delray Beach, Florida) over the weekend. Here's a photo of the impeccably clean kitchen.
The sushi chef examines my order.
To the immediate left is the vegetable roll -- cucumber, avocado, carrot and spinach -- $5.
Upper right (and also pictured below) is the spicy tuna roll -- chopped tuna I/O with seaweed - $7
The Cispy Lamb Mac & Cheese -- Australian lamb, white cheddar and parmesan -- was irresistable, particularly at $5.
And the USDA Prime Sliders (above and below) -- served with aged cheddar and white truffle, served on a grilled pretzel roll -- was pretty enjoyable at $7.
If you're looking to try something different, ask for the "Sushi Pizza" - $7.
Seaweed wrapped sushi, tempura fried and topped with mango, spicy tuna, avocado, spicy mayo & parmesan cheese.
(I got it without the mayo topping.)
It had a nice crunch and combination of flavors.
This beautiful sushi creation -- consisting of hammachi and eel -- was made on the spot by the sushi chef (and was quite good).
