We are saddened to inform you of the passing of NYSTLA Board Member Emeritus Eugene Litman, father of NYSTLA Board Member Emeritus Jeffrey Litman and NYSTLA Board Member Kenneth Litman.
Eugene Litman, a 1958 graduate of Brooklyn Law School, devoted his entire 60 year legal career to protecting the rights of the injured. Eugene founded the law firm of Litman & Litman, P.C., where his sons now carry on his proud legacy.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Sunday, February 4th at Sinai Chapels Jewish Funeral Home at 162-05 Horace Harding Expressway, Fresh Meadows, NY 11365. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery at 130-04 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, NY 11367. Rabbi Joseph Potasnik and Rabbi Aaron Konikov will officiate.
Following the cemetery, Shiva will be observed at Pamela and Jeffrey Litman’s Home, 5 Bering Court, Woodbury, NY 11797. On Monday, February 5th, 2018 5pm-9pm, Shiva will be observed at Ellen and Robert Litman’s Home at 32 Boxwood Lane, Roslyn Heights, NY 11577.
