President Trump is playing with sabotage. He's threatened to withhold funds that go toward informing the public about available coverage in the Affordable Care Act and how they can enroll.
This is another step on the road to tearing down President Obama's legacy and getting rid of the Affordable Care Act.
Trump and Republicans failed to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. So they are slowly sabotaging it instead. As a consequence, insurers could end up increasing premiums and millions of Americans may miss the window to enroll in the exchanges.
Republicans led by Donald Trump don’t get it: this isn’t about them, this is about the people they are supposed to serve. Hard-working families searching for affordable health care options and trying to get covered shouldn’t be paying the price for Republicans' reckless behavior.
