What happens when lives are at risk? Americans resist. Thanks to bipartisan opposition and a united Democratic party, Paul Ryan's plan to repeal the ACA and replace it with TrumpCare failed. They couldn't even bring it to a vote! So much for "Art of the Deal."
After 7 years of complaining and attacking the Affordable Care Act, it is clear the GOP is not prepared to govern. And as President Trump recently acknowledged, this work is hard: "Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated." Well we did. President Obama did.
We need leaders in Washington to have the best interests and values of the American people at heart. Seniors, individuals suffering from pre-existing conditions, and working American families won today.
Over 20 million people now have access to health insurance thanks to Obamacare. TrumpCare is a thinly-veiled pay more, get less scam perpetrated upon the American people, and I for one will fight hand over fist for the rights of ALL Americans, sick AND healthy, and make sure Obamacare continues to be the law of the land.
