A little more than four years ago, we stood outside the steps of our home in Park Slope and started a campaign for mayor that ended in an improbable victory, that few thought was possible at the time.
As you know, we’re often in our old neighborhood, but this weekend we’re coming back for something special. On Sunday afternoon, we’re holding a campaign organizing rally to begin the process of petitioning, to get on the ballot for re-election.
There will be food trucks on site, and an arts and crafts table for kids. We’d love to see you there. Here are the details.

Grassroots organizing energized our first victory, and it will be central to our efforts in this campaign as well. We put a premium on amplifying the power of the people, not just because that’s how we win, but because that’s how we strengthen our ability to create even more change in our second term.
So whether you bring some friends or make some new ones at the rally, we hope to see you Sunday. What do you say?
