Like many of you, I was deeply disappointed in Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement.
It’s not every day (or decade) that you see nearly every country on the planet unite behind a single cause.
That’s what we had with the Paris Agreement -- the international community came together to protect our children from the potentially devastating threat of climate change.
Trump threw that away by pulling us out of the agreement. It’s heartbreaking, it’s a huge step backwards, and we must deliver a united and resounding response to this disastrous decision.
Lucas -- the long term health of our planet will require intense focus and attention. And since we’re not getting that from Trump and the GOP, we’re going to have to fight tooth and nail to get them to pay attention.
That means making noise in Washington, around the country, and beating them at the ballot box.
