Anniversary Day, the second Thursday in June this year, is an opportunity
for us to remember the founding of Sunday Schools and the importance of
Christian education.
In an effort to reinvigorate the day--which is an official School holiday
in New York City--there will be a first-time “Anniversary Day Fest:
A Southeastern Queens Youth Festival” at St. Albans Park, Merrick
Boulevard at 111th Road, on June 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
