SPECIAL UPDATE

NOW. MORE THAN EVER.
#LexClubAnswers

Dear Lex Club,

The executive order signed last Friday by President Trump discriminating on the basis of national origin and religion is unconstitutional, illegal, un-American and immoral. As Congresswoman Maloney said yesterday in front of 10,000 demonstrators, "We will win this fight ... we will fight in the courts." We are not waiting:

1. Attend Tomorrow's Lexington Democratic Club General Meeting which will include a panel presentation on how to get get active, featuring speakers from Baruch College and the NY Taxi Workers Alliance. Tuesday, 1/31 at All Souls Church on 80th and Lexington Avenue.

2. Lex Club attorneys will be headed to JFK airport tomorrow (before the meeting) to assist persons still detained and their families. If you are an attorney admitted to the NY Bar, please contact Suzanne Adams (suzanneadamsny@gmail.com) or Peter Borock (Peter.Borock@gmail.com) for more details by 5pm today.

Democratically yours,

Peter S. Borock
