Tom Price, Donald Trump's disastrous nominee for secretary of health and human services, was just confirmed in the middle of the night by the GOP-controlled Senate.
This is bad. He's so virulently anti-choice that both Planned Parenthood and NARAL gave his voting record a ZERO. Now he'll be our country's top health care official, making decisions that will impact millions.

Price has long been critical of the Affordable Care Act and is expected to lead its repeal. He's said funding for Planned Parenthood "must be stopped." As a congressman, he cosponsored legislation that threatened to upend Roe v. Wade and make some forms of birth control illegal. As chair of the House Budget Committee, he introduced legislation that would gut Medicare and Medicaid.
Now as the secretary of health and human services he'll oversee major agencies — including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Food and Drug Administration. There's no gentler way to put it: His impact on women and families everywhere could be devastating in the years to come.
