A SEMINAR ON "OPEN DOOR"

Developers Only

The Department of Housing Preservation and Development ("HPD") of the City of New York will be conducting an informational seminar regarding its new multifamily homeownership program called "Open Door".

Open Door’s mission under the Mayor’s Housing New York Plan 2.0 is the new construction of affordable condos and coops on both public and private sites with a focus on construction quality, long term affordability and homeowner education and counselling. The City will provide subsidy sized on a project-by-project basis to help bridge the gap between development costs and sales proceeds. The maximum subsidy amount available per unit will be sized based on neighborhood market conditions and the targeted levels of affordability for end-purchasers.

The informational seminar will be conducted at HPD, located at 100 Gold Street, New York, NY 10038 (Room 1R) on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

Seating is limited. All interested participantsmust RSVP to OpenDoor@hpd.nyc.gov by December 15, 2017. Future informational seminars will be scheduled, as needed, to meet demand.
