LET'S FIGHT FOR THEM

Lucas,

This has been a tough campaign cycle, no doubt about it. Every news cycle gets taken over by Trump's latest outrageous comments, and it can start to get you down.

That's why I take a few moments every day to remind myself why I do what I do, and I wanted to share it with you.

To start, Hillary inspires me every day. She's tough as nails, so smart, and never lets the naysayers stop her from doing her work.

She's also a workhorse: She's released over 60 policy proposals to help everyone from veterans to students to people living with disabilities. She proposed an ambitious plan to make sure all families have access to paid family and medical leave and quality, affordable childcare.

She pledged to overturn the Hyde Amendment, protect Planned Parenthood, and defend Roe v. Wade. And she has stood up time and again to Donald Trump's degrading attacks on women.

I'm more inspired than ever to elect Hillary and pro-choice Democratic women up and down the ticket this November. Donate to help elect our inspiring candidates.

It's not just Hillary who's inspiring me. Our women up and down the ticket are making a big difference too.

Tammy Duckworth is closer than ever to being the next senator from Illinois. This summer, she joined her fellow Democrats for a sit-in on the House floor to demand gun safety reform. When Republicans cut off the C-SPAN feed, she smuggled her phone in her prosthetic leg so that video coverage of the protest could continue.

After Donald Trump kicked a crying baby out of his rally, Lisa Blunt Rochester wrote a moving essay about how she got her start in public service after taking her infant son to a rally. She's poised to be the next congresswoman from Delaware — the first woman and African American to represent the First State.

And just this past weekend, Governor Kate Brown of Oregon came out as a domestic violence survivor. And when her opponent said educated women were less susceptible to domestic and sexual violence, she called him out. That's the kind of courage Oregonians deserve in a governor.

Republicans this cycle have given us a lot to be upset about. But we're also fighting to elect some of the most amazing women we've ever had the privilege to endorse.

Let's keep fighting for them, and help them win in November:
