That’s why I first ran for DA, taking on a 31-year incumbent for a job no woman had ever held on Long Island – because I wasn’t afraid to make big changes to an office that was stuck in the past century. And that’s why I ran for Congress two years ago – because I was tired of seeing our government held hostage by extremists and career politicians who create more problems than they solve and waste time and tax dollars with endless partisan fights.
