THIS CLOCKTOWER'S OFF BY A LOT

The oysters were ok. (But they were just plain oysters.)

An "Old fashioned bucket of oysters, bits and bobs" -- ran us $37 for a dozen.

And the appetizer portions were pretty small. This cut up Alaskan King crab leg, was a rip-off.

"Alaskan king crab, dashi gelée, pickled cucumber" run us $23

As was the tuna. [Prepared to underwhelmbed by the "tuna tataki, green apple wasabi, charred scallion miso" @ $19.]

The "native lobster, shaved fennel, mussel and apple salad" was blah @ $25.

While I enjoyed the plain salad .... ($14)

The fish was overly sauced ....

And the desserts -- pistachio soufflé, chocolate ice cream (20 minutes) $16, and "Pink Lady apple tarte tatin for two, Madagascar vanilla ice cream" @ $23 -- were dry; inedible.
