Last night, our community lost an icon--the great Muhammad Ali.
Muhammad Ali was a titan in every sense of the word--not only for what he did in the ring, but also for his unwavering dedication to social justice for neighborhoods just like our 13th Congressional District. Ali was a role model to me and countless other members of our community, and he will truly be missed.
I know I am not alone when I say that my thoughts and prayers go out to the Ali family in their time of need. As we remember the "World's Greatest," I want to say thank you for always standing up for what was right, and never backing down from a challenge.
