NOT ON DOZIER'S DOSSIER?

After P. Dozier pleaded guilty to selling and possession of heroin and cocaine, the Albany County Court sentenced him to 12 years.

On appeal to the Appellate Division, Third Department, Dozier challenged the "voluntariness" of the plea. But because he didn't ask for that relief earlier (by way of a "postallocution motion"), the appellate court thought that Dozier's right to challenge the outcome had been waived--which thus prevented him from arguing the outcome was "too harsh or excessive."

"Waive" that one goodbye.
