Early Sunday morning, our country woke to the news of the worst mass shooting
in our country’s history.
In an instant, the senseless, inexplicable hatred of one man has forever changed the lives of all of us.
Our hearts go out to those who lost loved ones -- and we send our very best wishes to the victims and survivors for a quick and complete recovery.
While there is still much we don’t know and many questions to answer
in the coming days and weeks, one thing is abundantly clear:
We are stronger together.
This brutal attack illustrates why we must continue our commitment to
full equality for the LGBT community -- a community that is far too often
targeted by extreme hate.
Now more than ever we must stand with them.
