Really appreciate all you’ve done for me in the past. I know it’s hard to stay positive about politics lately, but you’ve stuck by me, and that means a lot.
Despite the dysfunction in Washington, we’ve been able to accomplish big things for our district and our city. We secured over $5 billion to upgrade our infrastructure. We fought to close loopholes that allowed terrorists and dictators to launder money. And I authored legislation to provide health care to 9/11 first responders and support breast cancer research.
Nothing is more important to me than continuing to do this work. But I have a primary election in just a few weeks, and I still need to raise about $7,100 to stay on target. I can’t afford to fall short before the primary.
