All too often we hear the heartbreaking stories: a young woman with a promising future, a father of three, a grandmother and pillar of the community -- dead in an instant at the hands of gun violence.
These stories are often followed by calls from communities and local leaders for action. But after the news coverage ends, we are still left with outdated policies that leave our families and communities vulnerable to gun violence.
There is simply not enough being done.
Action on this issue must start at the top. If we’re going to stop these senseless tragedies once and for all, we need our next President is to make gun violence prevention an immediate priority.
Thanks,
Team Annette
