It was the support of small dollar donations and our city's strong public financing system that helped get me elected Public Advocate in 2013. It may seem hard to believe, but 2017 is just around the corner, and I need your help again. I hope you can join me for a grassroots community fundraiser (and a really fun party) in support of my campaign on Monday, July 11, back in Brooklyn—where it all began.

July 11 is also an important deadline for my campaign, and the last major deadline before election year, so it would be terrific to have your help with this. Even if you're unable to make it, I would love to have your support. And under the city's generous public matching funds program, your contribution through this event will be matched as much as six-to-one—meaning that a $25 contribution would be turned into $175, and $175 would be turned into $1,050!
