Dear Lucas:
As 2016 goes into the record books, I want to again thank you for your
friendship and support. During this turbulent year of wild ups and downs
and unforeseen twists of fate, your support has been an anchor for me
and has helped me remain filled with faith and optimism that the future
ahead is ours to shape.
From completing the first phase of the Second Avenue Subway, which would
not have been built without federal funds, to working with the local community
to ink a deal for the last remaining parcel needed to secure the full
28 acres for Bushwick Inlet Park in Brooklyn, I'm very proud of what
we've been able to accomplish together this past year. As we head
into 2017, I'm excited to see the impact that these changes will have
in the new year and beyond.
So, whether you are celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, both or neither, I hope that you and your loved ones have a wonderful holiday season and a very happy and healthy New Year!
