Announcement: NYUSPS Finish Line 5K

Dear SPS Community,

I hope you will join me on Sunday, November 22, at the Hudson River Park, Pier 46, at 9:00 a.m., for a very exciting event: THE FIRST ANNUAL School of Professional Studies 5KRUN!

Sign up today to be one of the 500 members of the SPS community to run right alongside of me. Or, just come to cheer loudly from the sidelines, or participate by volunteering or making a donation. It will take all of you to make this race the huge success it ought to be.

We Are SPS—let’s make some noise!

This is a huge celebration of us! It takes a village, and in our case, it will take all SPS students, faculty, alumni, staff, and industry friends— rain or shine-- together at Pier 46. Rally your classmates, your advisors and instructors, your fellow alumni, fellow faculty, and your SPS colleagues. Only with all of you—running, cheering, and donating—will this event be worthy of its name and goal.

Make this SPS TEAMWORK at its best.

Why are we running? Because it is fun to run with the Dean. And, it is especially fun because we will be raising funds to support scholarships at SPS, helping students complete their studies, and getting them off to a running start. The more students who run, the more funds we raise, the greater the number of students we can help.

SPS is a thriving, innovative, dynamic school. We are heralding our presence with an unparalleled focus on professional education—and by our enterprising spirit and drive.
