Dear Lucas,
This Memorial Day weekend, we honor the service and courage of countless veterans who have fought to protect our country.
We can never forget the sacrifices of our service men and women, and that's why I'll keep advocating to ensure that the hundreds of thousands of veterans living in New York City have access to the supportive services they need.
We owe so much to our veterans. They are our heroes on this day, and every day.
I hope you and your family are enjoying the warm weather this weekend, and will stop by one of the dozens of parades and events happening all across our city to support and honor our veterans and fallen heroes. I hope to see you there!
