New Yorkers, please join the ASPCA, the New York State Animal Protection
Federation and your fellow animal lovers in Albany on
Wednesday, April 22 , for
New York Voices for Animals Day!
This event is an amazing opportunity to network with other animal advocates
and speak directly with your state lawmakers about important issues impacting
New York’s animals.
On Voices for Animals Day, our conversations will focus on priority animal
welfare legislation, including measures to provide relief to animal control
agencies and taxpayers during animal cruelty cases, cross-reporting of
child abuse and animal cruelty, and improving animal welfare protections
in natural disaster responses and animal fighting investigations.
After you
RSVP, you will receive information on a pre-event web training that will provide
you with lobbying tips, a legislative review and prepare you for a successful
day at the Capitol.
On the day of the event, coffee and treats will be provided to all attendees—and
to help you get to Albany, we’ll be arranging transportation from
New York City. We’ll send you information on how to reserve your
seat after you’ve registered.
Don’t miss out on this important and empowering event where you can
be a voice for New York’s homeless, at-risk and abused animals!
