OBAMA'S LASHING OUT?

Story1OBAMA LASHES OUT AT ISRAEL FOR ELECTING BIBI

The Israeli election of 2015 is the only election Barack Obama has ever lost and he's furious about it.

The President did what he could to bring Netanyahu down , but the Israeli electorate chose the Likud and Netanyahu. Since then, the Obama administration has been hitting Israel hard.

* The administration hinted that the U.S. might change its policy and refrain from vetoing a UN resolution on Palestinian statehood.

* White House officials told the Wall Street Journal that Israel spied on the U.S. negotiations with Iran and shared what it learned with Congress :

The espionage didn't upset the White House as much as Israel's sharing of inside information with U.S. lawmakers and others to drain support from a high-stakes deal intended to limit Iran's nuclear program, current and former officials said.

...The White House discovered the operation, in fact, when U.S. intelligence agencies spying on Israel intercepted communications among Israeli officials that carried details the U.S. believed could have come only from access to the confidential talks, officials briefed on the matter said.

Israeli officials denied spying directly on U.S. negotiators and said they received their information through other means, including close surveillance of Iranian leaders receiving the latest U.S. and European offers. European officials, particularly the French, also have been more transparent with Israel about the closed-door discussions than the Americans, Israeli and U.S. officials said.

* White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough spoke at the J Street conference this week. After claiming that President Obama has Israel's back, he received a standing ovation for his comment that: " An occupation that has lasted more - for almost 50 years must end."

Senator Lindsey Graham blasted that remark .

* The State Department might be attempting to limit the loan guarantees Israel receives from the United States, based on Israel's expenditures on West Bank settlements, according to an Israeli media report published on Tuesday.

* The Obama administration has reportedly "declassified a 386-page report from 1987, exposing for the first time ever the actual depth of top-secret military cooperation between the United States and Israel - including, amazingly, information about Israel's unacknowledged nuclear program."
